In this section we will explain the workflow on how to publish created docx-as-code doc.
By clicking on the “Publish” option the following window will appear:
The doc will be versioned with the auto-versioning feature:
- Major (can be manually changed)
- Minor (will be automatically incremented on every publishing)
- Patch/bug fix (will be always 0)
If selected “Set Versions Manually” then auto versioning will be overrided and any non existing versions could be set.
By clicking on “Publish” button, read only versioned copy of the document will be created (e.g. puzzlescloud-1.0.0.docx). Main document will continue to live independently.
There are the following options with the published document:
- Generate share link for docx (will create link of the docx to be downloaded from PuzzlesCloud website)
- Generate share link for pdf (will create link of the pdf to be downloaded from PuzzlesCloud website)
- Publish docx to Google Drive (for Google authenticated users who allowed interaction between PuzzlesCloud and own Google Drive)
- Publish pdf to Google Drive (for Google authenticated users who allowed interaction between PuzzlesCloud and own Google Drive)
